We have several GoFlow items that are the same product but have different item numbers. We’d like to standardize the item numbers without losing their sales history.

For example, our current item number is 0-54-BURG-125-BT, and we’d like to use 0-54-BURGUNDY-125-BT going forward. If we create the new item, its sales history will be separate from the existing item.

Could you create a way to link or merge these items so the previous sales history appears under 0-54-BURGUNDY-125-BT? We have many items like this. This would help when an item number was created by mistake or when we change item numbers to keep our SKUs consistent.

It would also help with custom orders. We sometimes use a separate item number for the same product because its cost and selling price differ. We’d like to keep those item numbers separate while still being able to see the product’s total sales history.
