The implementation here could be matching automatically SKU to SKU, or mapping barcode/UPC to barcode/UPC for automatic detection. This function is highly anticipated for us

I agree. GF already has way too many steps. Adding A checkbox on the product (creation) page to automap would be a huge time saver...

BTW, the blowing off of 1 extra minute On your customers' time isn't a very encouraging display. 1 "extra" minute across 3000 items is roughly 50hours. A whole week's.

I don't think you'd appreciate anyone taking up a week of your time.

I think the trigger should be the SKU both within the listing import as well as in the future if there are any orders from a market place with the exact same SKU.

There can be a selection to choose if you do or don't want it to auto map, just like GF has when creating the Product "is sellable" or "is purchasable" see attached

I am not sure how other business run or operate with other marketplaces. But I myself current don't with with any marketplaces that you can update the SKU.

But I would image if there is a reason to do so, in that case with the knowledge of this feature, I would know to Un-map and remap accordingly.

The point of this would be to eliminate another step in the whole process.

When listing is first imported. And if there is no product yet?

What to do when you specifically want one listing to stay unmapped?

Some channels support SKU updates, Shopify, Woo, Magento, BigCommerce, etc. What should happen upon SKU update? Unmap and remap to another product?

When a product is created? You may have specific listings you want to stay unmapped.

We're getting into too much here. It's pretty easy to map when both SKU and item number match.

That's like 1 minute, and you have control over which listings are mapped and which not.

We should be able to turn this feature on or off. Automatic mapping for exact matches.
